Velox has produced Velox2 (two seat) utilizing the latest in high tech
composites. The Velox, a mid-size all composite aerobatic aircraft utilizing carbon fiber and kevlar, produces the highest power to weight ratio of any existing aerobatic mono-plane.
During the last several years the trend for new aerobatic aircraft has been from very large to very small. The very small have performed spectacularly in vertical penetration, snap roll and aileron roll capability. While the very small and large competition aerobatic aircraft will continue to be popular, Velox saw a need for a mid-sized competition aircraft. The mid-size aircraft allows for excellent performance while allowing for it to be judged as high as the larger aircraft in competition.
